1851 Census Swardeston -Mary, 7, Emma 4, Sarah 2, Robert 3 mnths.
Banns read: 19th, 26th Nov and 3rd Dec 1843 (Swardeston Register) both of Swardeston.
Census 1841 Swardeston shows Samuel living with the Davey family of farmers. His
parents and possibly a brother are in the same village. In 1861 Sam is missing from
the family home. Richard Mack (Lodger unmarried 21 in 1851) was living with them.
His birthplace was given as Brandiston and he was a wheelwright.
