6 Degrees of Seperation
I caught a programme on the BBC (or at least, I think it was the BBC), that gave someone a letter and told them the letter needed to get to a university professor in the states – the only snag was they were living in a remote African village – the only rule was, they had to give it to someone they knew (who could then give it to someone they knew etc etc).

– Do you get the picture?

The theory is that we are all only 6 links away from everyone/anyone else on the planet.

WHAT AN AMAZING THOUGHT!!

The programme was cleverly constructed following a number of different packages with a number of different destinations, sent from different start points (at the same time as trying to explain the science). And in very unscientific test conditions, they concluded that there is something to this theory.

This means that I know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone, who knows someone, who knows someone, who knows Barak Obama!! – how cool.

Or to put it another way . . . Barak Obama, has a friend, who has a friend, who has a friend, who has a friend, who has a friend, WHO KNOWS ME!! – That means if you are one of my friends you might only be 5 degrees of separation from Barak Obama . . .

We are all connected so closely in a very small world, so to quote the words of the prophetic pop group Black Eyed Peas – where is the love????
